I will overwhelm 'credible combatant' Jake Paul - Joshua
Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" the American as the pair met personally to publicize the upcoming bout.
Former twice unified heavyweight champion Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I'm going to injure his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
Despite these statements, a calm Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally recognized for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead targeted former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.
Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily fought MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's largest money-making draws, frequently receiving huge paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would prevent the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Paul stated.
